BEST OF PORTLAND
Each year, WIllamette Week hosts a readers’ poll where members of the community vote on their favorite people, places, and experiences throughout the greater Portland area. The poll is our largest advertising campaign of the year, with a nomination phase, voting phase, block party, and special issue. I worked with our advertising team in 2017-2018 to create a bold and recognizable branding system that we translated to all of our print, digital, client, and social needs.

For the finale of our 2017 campaign, creative director Alyssa Walker and I worked together to create this mural that worked double duty as the cover of our biggest issue of the year and backdrop for our annual block party.
